Exciting Opportunity for Educators!

Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance is proud to partner with Utah Project Archaeology to bring a quality professional development opportunity to our area. Please see and forward this announcement and the attached flyer to all interested educators.

Project Archaeology is offering a stellar professional development workshop at the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center in Dolores, Colorado, June 10-13. Don’t miss this chance to receive inquiry-based, modeled instruction from the NCSS endorsed Investigating Shelter curriculum guide. Visit the Lowry Pueblo Ruins, explore traditional healing with Ute Elder, Aldean Ketchum, engage with the museum exhibits, and advance your career in education. Two college credits are available from Southern Utah University for just $42.

Only 14 educators will be selected to attend and receive a $200 scholarship.
