Leonard Cain Medical Scholarship

Dr. Leonard Cain has established a Medical Scholarship designated to provide financial assistance for students who are motivated to pursue higher education in the medical field. Scholarship awards shall be used towards tuition and expenses at higher education institutions for medically oriented classes and programs.

Applicants will be chosen for a nonrenewable scholarship in the amount of $500. The scholarship committee may select more than one recipient based on applications and funding. Funds must be used within the next school year (the fall semester) following the grant of scholarship, or it will be forfeited by the recipient, unless a delay is approved by the scholarship committee.

Each application will be given consideration with regard to scholastic standing, character, desire to obtain a college education, and economic need without regard to race, creed, color, sex or religious beliefs. Information received from scholarship applicants is considered to be confidential and will not be disclosed.
