Minimum 3.2 GPA required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Decision Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scholarship awards will be based upon academic standing, desire to obtain a post-secondary education, school activities, community involvement, and work experience. If there are multiple finalists, interviews may be scheduled. Depending on fund balance, scholarships can range from $500 to $1000 for a one year, non-renewable scholarship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please make sure that all items are furnished on the list below; incomplete applications will not be considered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Online General Scholarship Application, including one letter of recommendation from one of your basketball coaches<\/li>\n<li>Cortez Youth Basketball Scholarship Online Application that includes an essay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If there are multiple finalists for the scholarship, interviews may be scheduled.
