Using fruits and vegetables from our local, abundant August harvests students will create a still life painting in one afternoon session. Hilary will mentor students in how to lay in a composition and define planes and volume as in sculpture, while adapting traditional drawing methods to the use of paint as a medium. Paint with him and savor the visual beauty of our local produce. Students supply their own acrylic paints and canvas.
\nRecently relocated from Philadelphia where he worked as a professional muralist, Hilary assisted the mural artists last fall as they transferred drawings on paper to the exterior walls of The Sharehouse.
